Food Services
The kitchen, which is Food Safe Excellence certified, is always open. Tasty and nutritious home-cooked meals are provided according to the needs and wishes of the residents. Special diets are accommodated.
Breakfast is served in the resident's room, allowing each resident to begin their day on their own schedule. All other meals, lunch and supper are served in the dining room.
Lively conversation and home-made baking make morning coffee and afternoon tea something you won't want to miss.
An evening snack is provided in the resident's room.
Staffing
Trained staff provide care for the residents twenty-four hours a day. Encouraging independance, assisting and providing care while looking after any medical concerns is what we do best.
Our registered nurses work in consultation with the residents and their doctors to ensure health needs are attended to. Medications are monitored and dispensed by staff.
Social Programs
In addition to the daily coffee and teas in the dining room, our calendar is filled with many other activities. Inside activities include weekly entertainment, birthday parties, guest speakers and fashion shows. Outside activities range from enjoying the back patio to visiting local restaurants or just a good scenic drive through Victoria and the surrounding communities. The activiites are generally determined by the residents' desires and wishes.
